Our hotel is situated in a recently renovated, beautiful farmhouse situated at the old harbour of Workum. Workum is a very old city, with a lot of leisure and entertainment facilities. The hotel is situated near the city centre and near the IJsselmeer beach / quay. It is possible to rent a boat with us, for a whole day, an afternoon or a whole week.

Pension het Smidsvuur is a typical small dutch Bed & Breakfast accommodation. It is located in the center of Workum, next to the canals. For our guests we rent: sloops, bicycles and canoes. We also have a small Sauna and Solarium. We have got a cosy living room where the guest can use the extensive kitchen facilities and a fire place.We are looking forward to see you in the historical city of Workum!

Welgelegen is a former farm turned into a campingsite with a Bed & Breakfast. All the available rooms are located on the first floor in the tastefully designed bed & breakfast, and have a view on the beautiful landscape. Shower & toilet are shared facilities and the breakfast room is located on the ground floor. During the daytime the breakfast room is also available as a relax room. In the area there are many recreational possibilities such as cycling, walking routes, surfing, kite surfing and skating.

Hotel Aan de Wymerts is located opposite the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum, 2 km from the IJsselmeer Lake. Free tea and coffee are available in the lounge throughout the day.
The spacious rooms include rain- and massage showers as well as a TV. Some rooms have a whirlpool. Breakfast is served in the neighbouring Pottebakkershuis restaurant.

The town is famous for being one of the places the Elfstedentocht passes through. The city of Sneek is located within a 25-minute car drive from Aan de Wymerts. The hotel is situated a 15-minute walk from the train station of Workum.
